Mahatma telugu movie review by TR

Mahatma the 100th movie of Srikanth is a well executed one. Krishna Vamsi did justice to the subject Mahatma.The  movie Mahatma released lately against scheduled release date of October 2nd due to the censor board and other cases in the court. Heroine Bhavana finally was able to score a hit with this movie.

Hero Srikanth is a rowdy and the movie starts with a mass introduction song of hero. Bhavana is a lawyer and the encounter between Srikanth and Bhavana is funny. Then the introduction of the villain Jayaprakash Reddy is dealt really well. The intense action scenes in the first half are worth mentioning.

The second half is filled with comedy of Brahmanandam and sattires on politics. Two songs are targetted on political parties and state politics. Hero gets influenced by Gandhi and he tries to  change the society around him. The second half is all about his efforts to get the change.The second half drops in pace compared to the first half. It regains pace again with climax .

Overall the movie is a nice amalgamation of commercial ingredients. The charmee song in the first half is also well shot. This is a movie with Krishna Vamsi mark and can be watched once.

SasiRekha Parinayam Review directed by Krishna Vamsi starring Genelia

SasiRekha Parinayam directed by Krishna Vamsi starring Genelia and Tarun is not upto the expectations.

Ahuti Prasad done a role similar to the one in Chandamama but this time hes father of Genelia and Paruchuri Gopala Krishna did the role of Taruns father whos by profession lawyer.

Genelia runs away from house as shes not ready for a relationship with a bride-groom who marries her for dowry and meets Tarun on the way.The whole movie is their journey and the incidents that take place which get them closer.

The twist being Tarun is the bride-groom in the marriage fixed with Genelia and Tarun impresses her and finally gets her consent.

A MUST WATCH MOVIE ONLY FOR VIJAYAWADA LOVERS as most of movie takes place in Vijayawada and many of the dialogues are written targetting Vijayawada audience. The one minute dialogue by Tarun is worth-mentioning

Except one song the music isnt impressive.

Srikant pairs up with Krishna Vamsi

Srikanth who is going to finish acting in 100 movies has already signed his 101st and 102nd movies. He has kept his 100th movie slot free because he wanted maverick director Krishna Vamsi to direct his 100th film.

This film was delayed for a very long time because Krishna Vamsi was busy with other projects and also the script was not ready. This 100th movie of Srikanth is now getting into shape. The movie is titled as Aathma by Krishna Vamsi and the shooting of this film will start soon. Srikanth - Sada latest film Aa Aaa Ee Eee is getting ready for Sankranthi 2009 release.

Sasirekha Parinayam to Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Films

Chadalavada Srinivas Rao who is the owner of Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateswara Films distribution company has bought the entire Andhra Pradesh distribution rights of Krishna Vamsi directorial venture Sasirekha Parinayam. Tarun and Genilia are playing the lead roles in this film.

Sasirekha Parinayam will be released all over Andhra Pradesh either in the last week of December or in the first week of January. The above mentioned distribution company has recently distributed Ravi Teja Baladoor and Sekhar Kammula Avakai Biryani.
